Green workplace

One of the major initiatives we have taken is to create a green workplace with room for remote work, and where we work more digitally

Here are some of our initiatives for a greener workplace

Remote work and flexible work several days a week

Often working from home 4 days a week
Reduces driving/transportation
No need for the same office facilities

Online meetings when possible (employees, customers, partners)

Reduces the need for driving
Reduces the need for presentation equipment, etc.

Energy consumption and data center

Flex4Business ApS uses a data center that prioritizes green initiatives, using green energy to minimize the environmental footprint of our products. In addition, they also focus on smart solutions and reducing their energy consumption.

At the office

Flex4Business ApS also has several initiatives in our daily routine to save on energy. Some of them are:

All lighting is, of course, LED, and there is automation to ensure it turns off
We consider energy consumption when purchasing hardware, especially for devices that are powered on frequently
We limit energy consumption wherever possible

In addition to the above, we also have other initiatives to ensure a greener workday where we can best reduce our carbon footprint.

Here are some of the things we also do

Limit printed materials and use a printing company with a carbon-neutral profile and 100% green electricity when printing is needed
Provide support to associations and others who help the environment
Of course, we sort ALL waste so that as much as possible can be recycled
We try to avoid using disposable products
Work digitally and reduce the use of paper / printing
As much as possible, we try to purchase with a focus on sustainable and/or reusable materials
Attempt to avoid food waste

Are we there yet?

We haven't reached our goal yet regarding Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and we don't know if we'll ever definitively achieve it, as there are always things we can do.

But we're trying our best, and we're constantly looking for new ways in which we can improve.
